Barham Fisheries is a traditional fish and chip shop. The fish is cooked fresh to order, and there is plenty of choice on the menu. The traditional Hull patties had a nice light and fluffy texture and good flavour. The chips were excellent, and the portions were very generous. I think everything tastes so good because it is cooked in 100% beef dripping. The staff are very friendly and the prices are cheaper than some other chip shops i have been to recently.

Had two fish and haddock, absolutely fantastic. Took me back to fish and chips done proper when I was a kid. So tasty and very unpretentious m. Me and friend said fish was great but chips were so good, many chippies nowadays don’t do good chips, these did.

Recommend by the in-laws and somewhere my partner always went as a school child. Service was fantastic, owners have been there for 33 years and have really mastered their craft. Food was fantastic and excellent value for no money

I was recommended Barhams by my sister who is a local of the area. I took her review of Barhams with a pinch of salt. I've lived in 4 countries, tried exceptional cuisine from Japan, France and Argentina, her opinion of excellent wasn't (I ignorantly assumed) to be taken wholely seriously. It's great being wrong, you have the chance to learn something new and my did I learn. Fish, chips and mushy peas, wrapped. Took it home and I haven't shut up about for 4 days. Truly delicious! Best chippy I have ever eaten.
